We loved the nearby parks where our kids could play, and our dog enjoyed the fresh air too! The location was perfect for our family getaway, making it easy to explore the beautiful scenery around Garberville.
My kids wished there were more amenities for families to enjoy, especially activities to keep them entertained indoors.

Consider bringing your own pillows for added comfort, as the provided ones were small and not very supportive.

The location was ideal for exploring the beautiful scenery.
My stay at the Lone Pine Motel was incredibly disappointing. The room had burn holes in the sheets and the bathroom faucet was off its base—what a hazard! The noise from other guests made it impossible to get any sleep, and the TV didn't even work properly. Just an overall unpleasant experience that was not worth the money.

The bathroom showed significant wear, particularly in the fixtures, which made it less comfortable than expected.

i was just utterly disappointed with my stay. there were 2 burn holes in the top sheet, and the metal bed base was an absolute nightmare. plus, i expected at least a complimentary upgrade for the inconvenience, but that was clearly too much to ask. i almost wrote a good review, but i just couldn't.

The food scene in Garberville is a treasure! Must-try curries at Amillia's just a stone's throw away, and the barbecue at Eel River Cafe had my taste buds singing. Plus, the bed? Super comfy, and with a hot shower, we were ready to tackle the Avenue of the Giants.

decent stay but room needs improvement
The location was ideal, with a restaurant right next door for convenient dining options. I appreciated the comfy bed, making it easy to rest after a long day. The nearby parks offered beautiful scenery, perfect for a relaxing stroll, enhancing the overall experience.
The room was clean but had visible wear and tear that detracted from the comfort.
